Unlike other lasers, the Soprano XLi has been designed to treat all skin types, and so it is suitable for all races and ages. Patients no longer have to worry about how tanned their skin is before going for the treatment. Instead of simply blasting away unwanted hair, this treatment heats hair follicles to their proper damage point very gradually – without discomfort or longer treatment times. The hair follicles then slowly die off afterwards.
The device uses a unique IN-Motion technology and a patented DualChill tip to keep the surface of your skin cool and comfortable during the treatment. As a result, the treatment process of Soprano XLi is virtually painless for all patients. There are no consumables and no disposables during the treatment. The treatment is also strictly non-surgical; no knives will be used.
Besides treatment for hair, the Soprano XLi also helps with skin-tightening using NIR (near infra-red) technology. The system can emit a rapid pulses of low energy to gradually heat up the skin that stimulates the growth of new collagen in targeted areas. This helps the skin tighten and gives it a more youthful glow. Patients can expect some immediate skin tightening and glow, as well as a restructuring of the skin’s architecture, helping to shield the skin against future ageing.
